Meet the 4J Lamp, a luminous object that sits between design piece and artwork.
Carefully conceived and produced in the Netherlands, the lamp is inspired by organic structures in nature: the flowing rhythm of shells, the soft growth of mushrooms, and the layered patterns of wood grain. Before arriving at its final form, the design evolved through extensive experimentation with paper and textiles. The chosen solution was to fully 3D‑print the lamp using PLA, a sustainable bioplastic made from renewable natural resources such as corn starch and sugar beet.
