This artwork is an addition to my exploration into organic shapes and linework. I call them ‘topomorphic landscapes’ where the lines can be seen as a topographic map of an imaginary landscape. Even though the shape has a minimal relief in the surface, it creates enough play between light and shadow to be seen from different angles. The shape is enhanced and pressed on a wooden panel with a special technique I developed.
